Emotions are simply complex!
Emotions are an important part of who we are. They are expressions of our thoughts, feelings and experiences we feel. At times, even we as adults struggle with emotions and have a hard time dealing with them.
So, just think from a child’s point of view!
Emotions that we feel are the same as them. It’s necessary for them to know the basic feelings such as happiness, fear, sadness, and surprise.
But for them, It’s a whole different concept. It can be confusing or sudden to feel.
Have you witnessed your child being stubborn? crying? Or being upset over petty things and when asked why they can’t name how they feel? And it can be hard for you to judge too.
It’s our responsibility as adults to help them understand and teach them that no emotion is good or bad. It’s okay to feel it without guilt or shame.
